Years ago, in a land far away known as the Cartoon Network, there was a satirical talk show called Space Ghost Coast to Coast. Jonathan was on the show in 1995, and I managed to chase down the episode, which I lovingly present to you now in these two youtube videos. Please enjoy!

Jonathan Richman and the '80s interview

I found this interview and snippets of a live performance through bedazzled, and decided to upload it to Youtube for those of you who lack the time, patience, ability, or desire to download it to your computer.

It's a clip from the old MTV show "The Cutting Edge", and features a few parts of live songs by Jonathan, namely "Corner Store, "My Jeans", and "When I dance", performed with the crew Jonathan was calling his Modern Lovers at the time. It's from 1986, (When I reflect on the fact that I was born that year, I remember just exactly how long Jonathan has managed to keep us all entertained) and is about two minutes longer than the clip of the same show that has been on Youtube for a while. I hope you enjoy!
